$200.00 better than Patriot Gold dual springs? The Patriot Stage III LS6 heads only list for $1295 @ Summit

the ls6 patriots stage III are not for the stock ls1 engine. just look at the boreing of those heads. and my quote on the $200 more is because their stage I ls6 heads are $1099.00 and an extra $250 for prc dual springs.

Well it may target the guy that wants a new head with a warranty over a stock ported head with no warranty. Our heads have benefits that the stock ported heads don't offer. For example, a guy who is running a small blower/turbo may want a thicker decked head. Ours have a 9/16" thick deck compared to a factory casting that is around .400" thick.

Since you have the AFR heads you know as well as I do that aftermarket castings are better than a stock castings.

BTW thanks for the welcome to the site.

I suggest going real quick to the TEA web site and seing the flow sheet on their new stage two ls6 heads and seing the sale they are having right now. They flow a ton at all lift levels.

Nevermind here they are.
Flow Data
Intake Exhaust
0.100 67 54
0.200 139 120
0.300 219 179
0.400 271 224
0.500 308 248
0.550 315 255
0.600 320 260

Oh I have paid to play, just couldn't justify another 1-2k for 10-20hp over the Patriot Heads.

You would be hard pressed to find a 04 LS1 with as much power and torque. You see LS2s close to 500 but not many LS1 NA.

I'm happy with the TEA 5.3 stage 1.5s on my car. I don't think there is a clear cut, right decision on this one.

Why would a ported stock casting not have a warranty? The Livernois ones I have ran always had one (just another reason I use them for my builds). This is right from their site:
