Cheapest 4.030 pistons?
The aftermarket doesn't seem to support engine builds on a college budget like you can find all day long with 1st gen small blocks. I keep finding 4.030" 3.622" stroke pistons for over $700 easy, where have you guys found cheaper pistons besides used on ebay?
LQ4 block and rotating assembly, looking for 10:1 compression or close to that with a simple .030" over. The heads are undecided for the moment, but probably stock LQ9 heads decked down ~.010" or so for a clean surface during the rebuild, same with the block's deck. This motor will be N/A it's entire life.

Any pistons in the 3-500 range? I'm not looking for high dollar pistons. I'd actually go to the dealership for OE replacement pistons if one of the cylinder walls didn't have such deep scratches. .020" will clean up the deepest grooves so I figured .030" over will yield a nice 370ci.

they are speed pro brand, come with grafal coated skirts, and come with wrist pins for use with stock rods, the pins are pressed to stock rods.
they are about 200$ and rings are about 100$ so for about 300$ u get
pistons, wrist pins, rings.
i have used these pistons many times now, with one motor making over 550 rwhp on spray with t56
they are designated as lq4 rebuild pistons and come with a 8cc dish.
will see if i can find part number right now and will post up
