i need ls1 engine at least 550HP Hi all
I have Lumina coupe 2003 same as GTO 2004 exactly. i want to modify my car completely so i need custom ls1 long block or complete with 550HP minimum custom 4l60 that can handle this engine also differential & axles and don't forget the suspension parts that should be changed because i need all this power go to the tire perfectly without a lot of wheel hop.
What you recommend no problem for big names or not but a good price for value

I'm guessing you're in Australia, so I would definitely work with someone there. As for your goals, it's gonna be hard to reach 550 crank hp on a stock displacement ls1 and still be DD friendly. Go with a 400+ inch stroker and good heads (AFR, TrickFlow, etc), and you can hit that pretty easy.
if you are going to build a motor get more cubes.
if you are in Australia- get the APS kit to go with the new motor and you will have 550+ reliable HP.
Then all you have to worry about is getting it to the ground.

DD and 550 RWHP? that is a tall order.
Yes LS6 motors can achive 550 rwhp on NA but not as a daily driver. a pure race engine, with light wt rotating assemblies, great heads, cam, dry sump system. Light wt clutch and drive shaft. Heavey duty trans and diff.
Plus a coil over suppension system to help.
Might as well take out one of the engines out of Holden Super V8 race cars.

DD LS1 factory displacement and 550rwhp?
Not happening it would have to be a race motor!
Now if you take an LS1 hone it out to 3.903" and stroke it to 4.000" to get 383ci might get you there N/A but i dought it.

Hi guys
am not in Australia also i didn't say that i need heads or cam, i want long block or complete engine and i didn't said stock displacement any engine but i need it ls1 so it will fit my car without modifications
so what shops or company's can do it and what is there sites

the car al ready has 415rwhp with heads cam & 42injectors but i need a new long block & complete engine other than mine of course with big stroker heads & cam but i want a custom shop that install all parts & guarantee the HP
