Default TFS LSX 440 test mule results

We just built a 440 LSX motor for testing. Here are some of the results.

This combination is very docile and can be put into a daily driver. As you can see below, the compression is 10.8:1.

Specs on the motor are:

LSX 440 10.8:1 compression
TFS 235 Heads 70cc combustion chambers
Lunati cam - 262/270 629/629 114 @110
Jesel shaft rockers
Fast 90mm intake/TB
TFS 48 lb. injectors
Accel DFI
Kooks 1 7/8 headers with 3" Flomasters

661.3 HP @ 6375 RPM

This combination made 525 + ft lbs of torque from 3600 RPM - 6575 RPM with a peak torque figure of 590 ft. lbs. @ 5500 RPM!!!!

As of right now we plan to add more compression and port the Fast intake to see how much power we can make.

We are also looking to get ideas from you guys on what other cam and intake combos you may want to see tested.

Thats very similar to my current combo. I'd be curious to see what a sheetmetal intake would do. Why did you go with the 235cc heads over the 245's?

Interesting question, we are putting the 245s on top of our LSX 454, so I am curious as well...

i'd like to see results with a ported 90/90 and also maybe a bump in scr/dcr. that cam could take 12:0 without issues on 93 imo.

How about a solid roller since you have the shaft mounts already. I would love to see about the same size cam 26x/27x with .700 or so lift and see the difference.

We will be testing the 245cc head in the near future. We just wanted to start with a production built head that anyone can buy off the shelf from a Trick Flow dealer. Trick Flow as a company does not offer the 245 head. That head is a custom order through Total Engine Airflow.

We also plan on doing some testing with more compression, a ported intake and we are considering the solid roller set up.

I want to see the sheet metal results as well. These are the heads i really want to go with since i already have the jesel rockers and i am going to ditch the ported fast and go with the sheet metal.
