Default LS2 Heads Installed.....

I was going to pickup a set from a guy in gilbert today but a friend had a friend who had an 8K mile pair for CHEAP. 275 dollars cheap

Anyway the install was fairly straight forward with LS1howto being a BIG help. Dyno will be this week and i hope i can hit 350-360whp.

Started the car and no problems. Went for a quick drive and it doesn't feel any different but i really didn't take it over 3000rpm. Dyno will tell the whole truth how good these LS2 heads are.

You're missing a "C" in that alphabet soup in your sig

Good ****, nice budget H/C in the works ($275 is awesome).

Thanks guys. Tryin to keep it under 1K for 400rwhp.

Shorties - 50
Bassani - 230
Lid - 90
LS2 Heads - 275

= 645

Rest will be spent on a sleeper cam and hopefully i can hit 380-390rwhp.

I looked at it but will probably be going with patrick G's recommendation on a sleeper cam.

Sleeper cam idea is dead. A C6 just kicked my ***.

Probably just going to go with a 224/230

I just installed edelbrock shorties so they're going to stay for awhile. If i wouldn't have gotten them for so cheap i would have bought LT's instead.

Lingenfelter GT2-3 is a good sleeper cam and works good with the LS2 (243) heads.

Good luck man and let us know how it goes! I'm in your same boat but I haven't had it dynoed yet either...hopefully we both end up with 350+rwhp

Edit: Just realized not exactly the same boat, I have longtubes...still hope for good numbers from both of our cars though!

Looked into it but i don't think it's going to get me to my goal of 400rwhp. Going to need a lumpy cam for that
