Who knows who has the highest dynoing car right now using LS6 heads? Has 550rwhp been reached? Not concerned with cubes? Anything up to 460 Cu in.... Just wanting to see who has the highest LS6 headed dyno #s in the country. custom intakes allowed. Stock PCM.....

My Cartek 427 (hydraulic lifters, 11:1 C.R.)made 528 RWHP and 520 RWT through an MN6/3.42 drive train . It's also a very streetable setup.

I beleive SW's z07 made 550 rwhp with LS6 intake, LS6 heads MTI 422. new intakes coming out I won't be suprised to see solid roller 42x cube motor dyno well over 550 rwhp say 575-600 range?

What's the point of a "mild" solid roller cam? I thought solid rollers were used to make revs.

We did a few Big engines. We have a 418 with 515rwhp/514rwtq, through the mufflers, with a stock manifold. Also one with 510/508 full exhaust also.
The power flattens out at 6000rpm due to the lack of air flow in the stock manifold. Waiting for the new plastic manifold to see the full power.
It is the intake manifold that stops the power with these big engine set ups.

I know of one 418ci race engine that did 680hp/520tq corrected on a bhp dyno. Before this fall you'll see some 720's to 740's if the heads can be kept the from lifting.

I have a block for sell that comes honed, new hardened Dura-Bond cam bearings, and new ARP main studs. Some people think the dry sleeves are better than the wet sleeves. I called Darton who makes the dry sleeves for Agostino racing and the wet sleeves. The tec said the wet sleeves are far better and can take more abuse, and that the dry sleeves are milled very thin to get a 4.125" bore. He said Darton has been using wet sleeves for years in motors that make over 1000 hp with out any problems. Also with the wet sleeves you get better heat transfer. Morgan Machine Shop are setting the motor up for me. Naturally aspirated cars with 427 CI are running the ¼ mile the low to mid 10's, with NOS there hitting the mid to hi 9's. I would be willing to go 3000 shipped. I would be willing to go 3000 shipped.

I counted 12 threads in "Internal Engine" alone where he posted the same exact reply. That is why there is a "For Sale" section here.
