MS3 vs TR230
Im fixing to rebuild the tranny put the 3500 stall back in and do a cam..I wanna get rid of my bike before i kill myself lol.. anyways though, its going to be stock heads cam only application..what would make the best power? this is going to be my daily driver so i want reliability. might also spray a 100shot in the future.. i saw a vid of the ms3 and the cam sounds like pure sex..im leaning towards that kinda..but i know the TR cams make good power..what would be my best bet?

Those cams are SOOO different. 224 is great, not enough lope for me. I am gonna go with the 230. Ms3 is to spin happy for me . I am an auto also.
Use the search button and get some coffee...its gonna be a long night.

have you heard the 230? do some searches and you'll find it sounds really mean
its what I ordered after doing some research and watching some videos on youtube, ect
from all accounts it seems to be an awesome street cam that sounds larger than it is (if thats your main concern) but still makes great power with stock heads

I vote for the TR230 as well. Not sure about the nitrous applications. It seems to put up very good peak numbers and solid torque throughout the powerband. It has a neat idle when on the 111 LSA. I would rule out the 224 since you are even considering the MS3 it's obvious you want something pretty mean.
MS3 doesn't have the drivability of the others but is perfectly streetable. If you want serious cam-only power this is a fantastic cam in auto cars.

What kinda rebuild did you give the 4l60? If you don't mind shifting around 6500 rpms then go for the MS3. With a good converter it's not hard to keep it on the boil. It'll start to really pull around 5000. If you have done a solid rebuild by all means go MS3, and assuming you have 2.73s or 3.23s get some 3.73s and it will really improve the driveability. If you worry about being pissed that you didn't go big enough, just get the MS3.

I would go ms3. I have done some research on it and that is what I am going with. Sound's like you have about the same set up as i do. People are making around 550-590 on a 150 shot with a tune. And they say it is drivable, however not the greatest but they do DD it.
Also termin8ter or however he spells it had a ms3 with a 200 shot for a while. look him up on you-tube or street fire if you are questioning the ms3 his videos speak volumes for that cam.
