My stock T/A with 3.23 gears and 2800 converter went 12.4's so you should be in the 11's

And one more thing Red98c5 what would you run if you used 3.42 gear in your automatic?

I dont think your going to get a 12.5 with just a stall in a camaro, NoPe.
but exhaust, stall, gears and a tune maby.
A stall at the track is going to allow you to bring your power band up befor you take off. So lets say ( just made up) at 2000 rpm's your car makes 200 hp but if you take off at 3000 rpms your at 280 the stall lets you bring the power band up befor it locks (applies power to the tranny) kinda how I see it anyway.

BLACK2001SS you can see in my sig exactly what the T/A did at the track. The car weighed 3736 with 1/4 tank of fuel, and I usually ran between 1/4 & 1/2 just to be sure (the Vette has issues below 1/4), and it was stock other then the converter. The only "non stock" parts on the car, other then converter, were the frame connectors and rear lwr control arms, and drag radials, I had desires of making a low 10 sec car out of it but my heart attack took all my plans away so I sold the car.

Blk_Ws6 with my 3.42's in the Vette, I get 26-27 mpg on the highway trips, with the 4.10's it was about 25, and the original 3.15's got me 28-29 mpg (these are all trips over 100 miles total). I would definately do at least 3.42's but 3.73's would be the best. Even though I had to sell the T/A shortly after starting the build, the Vette I bought new and have 100,000 miles on it (most of it with high stall converters, currently 4200).

It's not a torch converter, it's a torqe converter. It stalls the motors RPMS up so you will always be in the power band but it slips more than your stock converter does.
