Default Megadeath Cam

Is anyone currently running the Megadeath cam from HPE? If so, what are your numbers and street manners like? Track times and does this cam like nitrous? I've been trying to find some info on it, but it seems I can only find info on it for GTO's and even then there isn't much. Cam is going in a '99 WS6, full exhaust and a lid are only mods thus far and when I put the cam in I'm also putting in some heads, not sure which heads though. Thanks for your time and input,

Grant

Guess I should post the specs for those that don't know, 244/242 612/610 on a 112 LSA.

wow...that big of a cam didn't break 400rwhp?

and the torque is way low.

sounds to me like there are better choices out there.

Yeah, I figured I'd read into it though, I'm getting my car tuned by them either way and thought it'd be worth a shot.

I want to go with the Megadeath purely for the fact it's not one of the cams everyone has and I'd be supporting the shop doing the tuning but I can't decide if I want to go with a more proven cam like the TRex or MS4. One of my only problems though is I'm not really looking to flycut and I know the both of those are extremely close. What are the street manners like on these cams?

Get a real custom cam, then even less people will have it.

As long as it's drivable I'm not too worried about it, I'm thinking I'll go with the MS4, only thing is I know the clearance is incredibly close, does anyone know the price on flycutting?

I DD it and it is quite alright. I would be more than happy to tell you anything you want to know about it. I am running Patriot ls6 stage II 59cc heads without flycutting. I am also running nitrous on it and its a blast

You will, just make sure the heads and fast are port matched and you will put down some sick numbers for sure!
