Their website has been hacked and they have not fixed it. I had my cam installed by and tuned by chuck. I later had it retuned with a wideband on the dyno. He previously did not tune with a wideband and I was dangerously lean. I think they have rectified that now. I can't say they are a bad shop and they are an option just a little expensive. The cam may have been spec by Chuck but it is still a Comp cam so no worries there.

Anyone know what exactly they got booted for? I still plan on getting my tune at HPE, they did good work on my brothers car and one of my friends, but then again they only had headers. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the MS4, I think I found a buyer for my bike so I should be makin a move within the next couple of weeks. I'm pretty stoked, but I'm definately going to be needing help with the install, are there any special tools I need and how tough is it? I think I'll be going to look at a write up

A local GTO racer put a Megadeth cam in his LS2. It was all top-end. No ***** down low. As a result, his ETs at the track were the same as when he had the stock cam. He does not like the drivability and plans on pulling it out and getting something with more power under the curve (for some real ET gains). I'm sure he'll sell it cheap since it did not meet his performance goals.

I would have to agree that this is not a 1/8 mile cam. It really shines in the top of the power band and is great for roll racers. I typically go from hwy speeds 70-140 and it pulls hard. If I was worried about track ET I would go with something else.

Go custom. I can't wait to order the new cam Pat G spec'd for me recently and see how the car does.

Thats what I heard too.. It was suppose to be their "S" cam,but I guess they did not have it so they stuck an MS3 in..I guess the owner whent to take the cam out and notice MS3 on it...This is what I was told by a guy who owns a GTO who is on a GTO site in which they are sponsors on..

Don't you have to flycut in a 346ci if you run a Megadeath?

They told me I wouldn't have to, but that's a monster cam to not need flycutting considering the MS4 is really damn close

Do you know how close you're running? I really don't want to have to flycut with the MS4 so hopefully it will clear alright.

Thats crazy to use a cam that size just assuming PTV clearance is ok,and pointless.Look into a tuner that doesnt believe a WB is not necessary, just a thought.

Well I'm doing the work myself with some help, so I'll be the one measuring it, even if they did tell me I'd still measure just because it doesn't sound right. I know people say the MS4 clears but even so it's so close I may end up doing it anyways.

just because it has a big duration will notmean you will have to flycut your pistons, PVC is going to be more determined on the lift of a cam, also which heads you have and how much they are milled
