Default SqueeEEeek

Hey Guys I just bought my car and it seemed great now (1 month later) I am hearing some major squeeking (I have not been driving the car hard) I know the idler pulley is usually the colprit but it sounds more like it is comming from the bottom of the engine (it is definatly a pulley I think) It is really bad in the morning when the car is cold and it simmers down but does not fully go away. It also seems worse when the air is off. Which is why I dont think it is the idler because my past experiences if you put more pull on the idler it made more noise. My question is could this be the compressor or something to do with the ac? Fixable? Possible cost? tips? Thanks guys for any help

Squeek I tell you! Squeek!

Could also be the idler for the A/C belt. That is down there pretty low.

i dont think its anything major though, just kinda annoying.

get you a length of hose(6-8ft) and have a buddy point it at a possible culprit while you listen to it through the hose... this should help you found out exactly where its coming from...
