The 230/230 is 60>65 rwhp cam properly tuned and installed.
Thanks for the info Predator. The only thing I don't understand is the xer exhaust lobe. It looks like the valve events are the same whether you use a XFI or XER exhaust lobe. The XFI has more lift also.

This looks a lot like the first streetsweeper cam specs. I remember it being 228/232 111 LSA. My buddy has this cam with a BBK intake, full exhaust and a 4000 stall. He made around 355 rwhp (unlocked) and ran 12.1 @ 113 on a 1.71 60' (M/T street radials).

Neither of us were overly impressed with the track results. I would listen to predator Z. When it comes to cam selections he is THE MAN!

Good luck with your goals.

I went with the first choice as well. It was recommended by Predator and I'm very impressed with its performance.

We'll see what happens, I think it would be a hassel selling this cam and pushrods. My car 60' a tenth better than your buddy as it sits right now with stock cam.

i vote for cam choice 2 but in a 114, no need to go that low on lobe separation.

There is no 228 or 232 advertised durations in XFI (228/232 are XE-R)

I found a 224 .609 XFI, a 230, .612 XFI, a 236, .615 XFI

232/232 .612/.604 110LSA +2. It uses the newer, more aggressive Comp XFI lobes

if you still have the stock 98 bottem end with stock rod bolts i would install the cam advanced four degree's at a 107 intake center line to move your rpm range down a few hundred rpms if you have ptv clearance for it.........

Buy an adjustable timing chain set and put some advance in the cam.
