wrong section, but the top of the line brands are kooks, QTP!! they are very pricey but the quality is top notch. the next best would be some budget headers like pacesetters.

I'm happy with my Jet Hot coated Hookers. Only signs of pitting are near the welds that hold the collector on. Otherwise they look brand new after 3 years.

Take your pick: Kooks, QTP, Pacesetter all will work fine.

What are your goals for the car? We offer both the Pacesetter 1 3/4" long tubes & our all new TSP 1 7/8" long tube headers for well under $500 fully coated!!

Like I've said quite a bit before to others, if cost is no problem, which evidently it is not, STAY AWAY from Pacesetter or anything else that is coated. There is no point in not throwing a set of stainless in there right off the bat and calling it a day. The mild steel headers WILL rust and look like crap after a brief time. I had a set of pacesetters for about 2 years and they began to rust towards the bottoms and I only drive the thing on dry sunny days like once or twice every two weeks. When I pulled them off the insides of the tubing looked terrible. I immediately switched to QTP's and they look awesome. Like the saying goes, "If you're going to do it, do it right the first time"

Look into QTP, Kooks or ARH. They are the top players.

Good luck!

Beat Choco on here haha
Seriously do a search on here. QTP has customer service issues (I had one) and sketchy welds sometime. I got rid of mine before they went on. Kooks and ARH are both very nice. I went ARH because I like their HVMC with velocity spike a little better than Kooks. The ARH Y is generally considered the best fitting out there too if you are not going TD.

You've got choices!! How much do you want to spend and what size engine and how much power are you trying to make.

From American Racing Headers to Pacesetters in price range. I've had Stainless Works, Kooks and now ARH.
The ARH are the most the Pacesetters the least expensive.
IF you were looking for a 1 7/8's header the TSP would be what I would use, unless you want stainless.

I stepped up to the ARH 1 7/8 stepped to 2" for the Y pipe and collectors and fitment.

Agreed on the ARH fitment being second to none. However, I will stick up for QTP's. I ordered a set from WS6 store after much research and they've cleared up their quality control issues it seems. My set looks gorgeous!

well i dont necessarily care too much about getting that extra tenth of a second, i dont drag, and i dont race, unless there someone on the road to play with. i care more about sound or quality.

i was thinking the QTP electronic cutouts, and have the pipes go out to the back.

but my dad has Pypes Universal Xpype with hooker headers that are dump with a 408ci stroker, and i just love that sound.

i have an ls1 and he has a camed, forged, with the whole 9 yards in his car so its going to sound different on mine.

ever heard of supermax? someone mensioned it to me.
