Spark plugs are orange WTF?
Spark plugs are orange WTF? I put my car back together yesterday after having new Patriot gold springs installed. I put brand new TR6 plugs gapped to .46 and my car is running like shart. I am thinking it is because I dropped my MAF while cleaning it but that is a different story..
For ***** and grins, I took out a plug to see how she looked and in less than 50 miles, it is orange.........all of them are orange. Looks like it was running lean.
Any ideas?

I just bought new plugs which are the NGK T55's which is what I was running previously. I have the car apart because I replacing the 8 gaskets on the bottom of my FAST and got a SS bolt kit from Thunder Racing.
Do you think my MAF could have anything to do with it??
Also, the vacuum line (small) that hooks into the rear of the FAST is clogged. I put my mouth on that nasty *** thing and couldn't get any air movement. Isn't there supposed to be movement?? What can I do????

The small vacuum line is for the HVAC and it would have nothing to do with the plugs. The other one is for the MAP sensor
Take a peace of wire and run threw it, and yes the small one on the passenger side is for the HVAC ,The Map does not have a vacuum line it is seated in the intake for vacuum ,and has a electric plug end to read the map. The larger one on the back of the intake is for the Brake booster

I believe I see !! You took the vacuum line OFF the intake and tried to blow thew it ?
You will not be able to do that because there hook to the HVAC ,witch is hook to different vacuum diaphragms ,witch when you turn the *** on the HVAC to change witch vent you want air to come out of . That vacuum goes in under the dash right be hind the glove box and junction into a sorted color vacuum lines . If you drop the glove box you will see what i mean. Try turning the HVAC *** and see if the air transfer to different vents, If it does the vacuum line is not plugged

Also you cant blow thew the vacuum line any way because there is a check valve in line that wont let air pass back thew, but can be drawed from the intake . The reason you cant blow thew it is the check valve is there so the vacuum will not bleed off back into the intake or if there is any kind if backfire it wont blow the HVAC
