Default Anyone know if I can do 1.8 ratio rockers as a bolt-on?

On my 02 can I just swap these on without worries? What is the stock ratio?

Extruded aluminum or stainless steel?

But they will limit you on future cam swaps in the future if you want to go bigger.

That's nuts! I see them all over for under $200. So these may give me 10 HP gain or so?

I don't think you are seeing 1.8 roller rockers for an LS1 for $200, they are freaking expensive. Even 1.7 roller rockers are more than $300+ and most 1.8 rockers are $400+. You might be looking at SBC rockers maybe? If it was me, I would spend a little more and get a good cam package and keep the stock rockers.

You need valve springs too, don't forget that.

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't trust no name brand Ebay rockers. Do a search for 1.8 in this forum and you will see the majority of people that tried it was dissapointed in the results. Anywhere from between 5-20 HP. Like vettenuts stated earlier, you should get better springs too because the stock springs weren't designed for the higher lifts you will be seeing.

I guess if I have to change all kinds of things I will just wait and do cam, heads, etc.. all at once.
