What would cause the engine to stutter down low? My car seems to break up or stutter down low once in a blue moon and after you get on it the car clears up. Could the plugs be fouling? I am running cheap plugs.....

Explain how the Front o2s could cause this? Would I get a code?

ive found that on my car, after the heads and cam install, if i baby'd the car for a long period of time, i would get build up of some sort in the motor and if i floored it from a low RPM, it would stutter a little. if i pushed in the clutch, reved it really quick, just to clear it out a little, the stuttering would go away and it would pull completely smoothe. You might just be getting a little build up in the motor, i have a stock tune on mine and im sure thats contributing to the problem.

Well here are a few things that changed....
1) due to availability I switched from TR6's to a cheap Bosch copper plug(not sure of heat range
2) Moved the rear O2s to the front for the new headers

Well I have noticed this issue twice on track days. Both times it was hot with high humidity. Car had also set for a while after a previous 20 min. run. Reason unknown. But went it away after getting back out on track.

Now the last time this happened was a VIR. Another LS1 car with me had the same issue.

I plan on trying Autotap to see if it see something.

I was getting the same thing awhile back. Shortly there after I got a driver's side O2 code. Swapped it out and the problem when away. I had a non LS1 car do that all the time and way worse. Never through a code and I had it to a couple garages that couldn't fix it. Ended up selling the car for peanuts. The kid put 2 new O2's in and it's running like a dream.

Phil,
We had this problem with some headers that we installed, ( not LG Pro Long Tubes). The rear 02s were also moved to the front. We had intermitent hesitation. We replaced the old rear 02s with some new ones and the problem cleared up. (you can see it on the Tech 2 as a low 02 reading)

Also check your clamp at the collector connection. If it is not slipped on far enough, or not tightened enough it will let air into the 02 sensor and send the car rich as a biatch.

We have found that in some cars, the rear 02s are just worn out, so when you move it to the front, they can't handle it. they have been getting all the hot Catalytic exhaust for too long.

Lou,
Thanks I am getting codes 1133 and 1153 in my PCM. Insufficient switching of the O2s.
