Default Cracked block by head bolt hole.......

This must have happened when the previous owner swapped heads. It looks like the classic 'fluid in the bolt-hole' type of crack. The heads were swapped about 11K miles ago, so everything has been fine since this happened apparently. Maybe I was just running on borrowed time though...

I'm in the middle of a H/C swap and noticed this when I was about to upgrade the motor mounts.
I'll be running 11.8:1 static CR with the new setup.
I WAS running 11.1:1 and things were fine.

Im debating on pretending that I didnt even see it...

****.

If it was me , i would run head studs with a lot of loctite on them,They screw in hand tight and then the torque is applied to the heads with out the twisting factor of the head bolts that can stress the loose threads from the crack . just a idea to think about

I'd have someone with a tig welder hit the area up. But if you're saying you have been driving around fine....then maybe just pray? haha....
