Jon,

I run a TR224-112 and I do really like it but I see alot of people that live at higher elevations (4500"+) asking for help on "best thin air" cams.

Is there a possibility you could look into something that would help us? I know we are probably not the majority of your market but we are cuter up here.

I'd like to see Patrick G custom spec a cam for AFR, TFS, and PRC heads, and run each combo on the same car with flycut pistons and the same SCR and DCR on each head.

I would like to see what a mild, narrow LSA cam does to the ls1.
i.e. something like 212/212 .550 110.

i would like to see back to back comparisons between 2 midrange cams using different lobes, nothing else. 230/236 on xer then on xfi or something. same icl and advance.

i'd also like to see a high duration on narrow lobe separation, ie 244 on a 108 or whatever you can get to fit...but using a vic jr instead of these gay crossover style intakes.

What about Head to Head BIG CAMS..

The Vindicator vs The MS4 vs the Polluter..

I think that should be an awesome comparison since all three cams are very popular here on Ls1 Tech

Why not to slap some TFS on there too???

+1 on the small cams, I have a 218/224 in a 6.0L truck. I would like to see something that provides flat off idle torque up to 4500 RPm's or so, then HP shouldn't exceed 6K RPM's. I'd like to see a 214/218 or 210/216 - something in that area.

I'd like to se my cam versus the same .050" duration LSK or XFI lobes. I have a Comp XE 226° .571"/ 230° .575" on a 109° LSA +0°. I'd like to see the difference in touque and power compared to the faster higher lift lobes.

And yes, that slow ramp with the longer duration at .006" combined with the 109° LSA means the idle sounds like a Harley Davidson.

Id like to see some decent sized cams put with tfs, aft, and any other heads you can get your hands on and see how they differ.... It would be nice to see what makes more power... My money is on tfs....lol

I agree the TFS heads are crazy and I wouldnt pay 1699 each for your guys heads that flow lower than a pair of TFS heads that flow 340cfm and are 1899 for the pair. TFS is out flowing everyone...

Heads comparasion

are you looking for cams to be donated, or are you looking for some specs to be tried out... If you are buying the cams, I have some specs I'd like to see tried out...

BTW, for folks who want to see a bunch of small cams that were already tested I need to find the data from Sam's Performance in Australia. They tested tons of cams and headers. I have to look for the article and the dyno sheet, but there were a ton of them tested.

Texas Speed:

Any chance you guys sell stock in your company?

Judging by the response, many people are hungry for any new jump in cam performance and technology.

Need a donor car?

All joking aside, I think you have everyone's interest. I like many others will be eagerly anticipating the results.

Good luck!

..WeathermanShawn..
