Default Drivabilty with Cams?

What on a cam specs affect the drivabilty the most? I was always under the assumption that its the lift, but some people are telling me its the total package. What is true?

the entire cam itself. the intake/exhaust durations, the lift, and the lobe separation angle, all have a profound affect on how a cam performs, its power range, and power it has the possibilty/ability to create. this can be stand alone (cam only) or with a combination of parts (heads, turbo, S.C., intake, exhaust, etc)...

What would be a decent cam for a "Cam Only" car without totally FUBARing the drivability? I have the Hot Cam now(previous owner had it installed), and it drives dang near stock. What would be a decent option to replace this cam with out of curiosity? Rest of mods, for the most part, are in the sig.

If I were you i would talk to the guys at vengeance, it depends on what you consider driveability, I personally dont mind the bigger cams for DD, but im a M6 with 4.11's so its up to you, but i would say something like the VRX5 from vengeance

i've got a 224/224 .567/.567 on 114lsa and its like stock IMO. I find a bigger difference in driving because of the mcleod clutch than the cam lol

The entire package changes drivability I have a 646 lift cam in my car. Not one problem with it I don't use it a lot because I have a few other vehicles to play with but I would have no problem using my GTO as a D/D

overlap is what affects driveability some say to stay below 7*+ for drivebility...others prefer alot mor and dont care about driveability...for a full out daily car stay as close to 0 as possibble...JMO

All things being the same with the quality of the parts and the skill of the install...
the rest is in the tune.
