Default What brand of dual spring is this? (help identify)

What Valve Springs are these? (Help Identify)

I bought some heads, they have these dual gold springs on them, they look to be either Patriot Performance Gold or PRC springs. They are made by the same company I know but how am I to distinguish the two sets? Is there something in them that have a diff color? Im going to pull a spring and snap some pics, maybe I can find a local performance parts store who can match em. Any help is appreciated.

I found this info:

5. Patriot Gold Duals: See Crane and 921’s. The PP Golds come on all PP heads. PP are the only genIII spring setup to use the super 7 10* locks.

O.D 1.29
135lbs @ 1.800
385lbs open
coil bind @ 1.08
.650 lift

My Personal Indepedently tested PP golds:

seat: 143 lbs @ 1.800
open: 363 @ 1.200
coil bind: 1.060
Clearance: .140
spring rate: 367

6. PRC Dual Spring Kit: Kit comes with Dual springs, tit. retainers (using stock locks), seats, valve stem seals. good for up to .660 lift

seat : 140lbs
open: 390lbs
install : 1.800
coil bind: 1.07
1.290 O.D.
max lift : .660
matl : super pure chrome silicone

- PRC Platinum springs:

seat: 145# @ 1.7850"
open: 395# @ ?

PP, PRC, TEA, and all other "Gold" springs are all made from the same manufacture; Associated Springs. The differences are in the retainers and seat locators.
Here are pics of mine:

Here are manufacturer pics:

Patriot Gold

PRC

Patriot Extreme Dual Springs (silver inner spring/mine are gold)

So I see there is a diff in the locks, what will be the diff in the 10 degree versus stock valve locks?

Thanks

Mike

well the guy who sold them to me said they were PRC but he said someone told him that, as far as I know, Patriots Gold and PRC are the same company, so maybe the same spring from both company's, just a diff name? I just need to know because 1 was broken and I need to order a new spring.

Thanks for any help.

Unless as stated the two brands are exactly the same, i found a guy here with a great pic, look exactly like mine, the only difference is that my inner spring is also gold, not silver and he says:

Patriot Extreme Dual Springs

Yours are definitely PRC. The Patriots use the larger super 7 locks and PRC re-uses the stockers. If you look at your pic versus the pic in post# 7 you can see the difference in retainer diameter.

Thanks! I think you are correct, they are much larger than PRC and as seen here they have kinda goldish color to them.
