Cartek H/C package or internet BS

and here are his "claims"
"My mods are:
-Cartek X package (P/P heads and very aggressive Comp cam)
-FLP L/T headers w/offroad pipes (no cats)
-Vararam Intake (with VR-1B filters)
-Ported TB
-Hypertech 160 degree T-stat
-ASP underdrive pulley
-Cartek clutch
-NGK plugs and wires
-LS1 edit tuned
472 RWHP/441 RWTQ
The car is tuned exceptionally well, such that it has a surprising amount of low-end torque for an H/C car with a very hot cam. Over 3200 RPMS and the power under the curve is just downright impressive all the way up to when the motor spins dry at about 7100."
Didnt think a heads/cam car could spin to 7100 either.

Sorry if this is the wrong section
I'm not gonna ring the bullshit bell (I have no way of proving it if I did), but I'd have to see the dyno pulls in person before I'd be a believer; that torque seems ~20 lb/ft higher than other big number H/C cars.
Not a bash on the guy making the claims, nor a bash on Cartek... just wondering if the car was on pump gas, was short belted, etc...
Furthermore, if you read up that thread a little bit, he also claims his car dyno'ed 356/347 RWHP bone stock. LOL.. Crack kills

To be honest though, I don't really care enough to go back and read it to find out.. He's either making the power or he isn't. I'm sure that he's not doing it on a stock bottom end F-body. But either way, it's not going to keep me up nights.

2) Why would it being a "Z06" make the test invalid? An LS6 is basically an LS1 with LS6 heads. People put LS6 heads on LS1's all the time, therefore its a perfectly valid heads/cam combo for an LS1 IMO.
3) I beleive that on their dyno, they dyno'd exactly what they are claiming.
4) A heads/cam car can spin up to whatever you want to spin it up to. Depends on how risky you want to be with the bottom end, and how good your springs are.

JMX, the car stated in the thread on LS1.com had a 224/228 hydro. Not really that huge unless it was some bigger than normal lift.

By the way, JMX, I picked up on that Cartek dyno dig.
1999SSM6, what dig?
It was more of a warning that every dyno does read a little different. Beast96, I hadn't caught that the cam was that small..thats impressive. I'd heard the 474rwhp car had flycut pistons and had a very large cam, but I suppose I was mistaken.
