Default livernois stg 2 ls6 and torquer v2 cam

i am going to run livernois stage 2 ls6 heads with the GM graphite gasket, 7.4 hardend pushrods, patriot gold dual valve springs with the TSP torquer v2 cam. specs are intake 232 exhuast 234 with 595 598 lift on a 112 lsa. i'm not sure it there is an advance on the cam so it's either zero or +2 i would think. ls2 timing chain, ls6 intake with svo 30's. just wondering if anyone ran a set up similar to this. i hope to get a around 415+ rwhp and run consistant mid to high 11's with a full weight m6 car. just let me know your opinions. keep in mind i allready have the parts to do this but just havn't done it yet

Sounds like a good setup. IMO I think you might get about 430 rwhp. I am curious where the powerband will be with those heads.

i'll put my money on the 430rwhp area

450 would be a stretch...maybe with a ported FAST.

some of those ls6 heads have some hogged out runners, not sure what the Livernois ones are...but it could make for sluggish low end with good top end.

i've got the original version of the torquer on stock heads, and after i've worked the kinks out since the last dyno...i'm sitting at about 400rwhp.

You should go with the package set up from livernois. In the dyno section with full bolt ons and through a ls6 intake a guy made 460 whp with there stage 2 set up (dynojet). I believe there cam is almost identical with a 232/232 or the 236/236. Good luck and us know how it turns out.

I will look for the thread and post it if I find it again.

Save up and put a Mamo ported fast 90 on it and I bet you will break 450whp.

i forgot to mention that the heads will be shaved about 4 thousands which isn't much. i would deff. like to upgrade to a fast 90 or even a fast 78 but the funds are a little low. my current setup is a random cam, i have no idea what it is because someone ground the numbers off the back. i just knows it's a 114 +4. same with my 5.3 heads. not sure who did the port work. i just keep hitting 12.0... 12.0...12.0.. etc... with 1.6 60's full wieght on hossier qtps. i have 4.56 gears to so i was kinda hoping to have a +0 advance on the Tv2 cam but a +2 will be ok. i'm prob gonna swap out the 4.56's for some 4.30's

getting ready to put the heads on. they were shaved to 60cc. i know it's kinda late in the year from whare i live but hopefully i get some new track times. my best et so far is 11.87 @114 with a 1.66 60' 3762 race wieght. i kinda think the 4.56 are killing the top end, even with the 27' tall tires. hopefully my powerband will bump up a little so i don't have to change gears or going with a taller tire.

Becareful with p/v if you've milled the heads considerably. At a 60cc chamber & larger valves my bet is piston to valve is going to be really tight.

I made 429 with the Stage 2 heads, 224/224 cam, fast 90, through an A4. PTV was tight with those heads. Could not fit the 228/232 I was going to run withouy flycut. Just installed AFR 205's with the 228/232 cam with more compression. Haven't had it tuned or dynoed yet.

Similar to my set up. My heads are unmilled made 435 rwhp and drives like its stock. I love it. Those livernois heads are nice pieces.
