Broken Timing Chain Poll
I am somewhat **** when it comes to analysis -- just trying to help...
As far as HP/Torque levels at the time of failure are concerned, I'm not terribly interested in muddying the results with the extra complexity. The purpose of the poll isn't to determine the reason the chain was changed, only to identify the manufacturer of those that have failed. We can't drill down that deep until we first identify the failures. Once that data is collected, it can be evaluated and theorized from there.

I suppose we should do a separate poll to see if the broken Rollmaster doubles included the torrington bearings.....
Everyone is too caught up in this timing chain debate, and I was interested in showing that no matter what set you install, you're not untouchable.
I assume the Rollmaster double constitutes the vast majority of replacement chains since it is preceived as a quality piece and sells at a very affordable price...

...and 2 out of 3 failures were NOT the stock chain? Interesting.
