MAC Header bolt question
Hey guys,
I just picked up the MAC Header + Y=pipe set-up for my 2001 WS6 M6, and I need to pick up new bolts to install them. Does anyone know what specification bolt I need? Here is the link to the specific Mac system I am referring to:
Part #TF4420

I need all the bolts that connect the headers to the engine block. I am not sure if the Mac Y-pipe I picked up came w/ hardware or not, but just incase, let me know if you can what size and specification I would need.
I also heard I can just go to a GM dealership and p/u a set of new exhaust manifold bolts. IDK what im gonna do, b/c I have seen websites with after-market (superior) bolts that are under $40 a set...like in the link a posted on this thread the other day.
Your thoughts?

Reuse the stock bolts and they will work just fine. Or buy a new set from a local dealer, no need to spend $40. I ran MAC headers with the original headers bolts for a few years with no problems. I do recommend adding a Flowmaster merge to the Y pipe and also grinding the welds on the inside of the primaries to help a little with flow.

Alright, it looks like the general consensus is the stock bolts will do fine. Thanks guys, you just saved me minimum 1 hr time, and $20-$40.
