however with the lighter weight you also have less inertia, so when taking off from a stop it requires more revs to keep from bogging.
generally they say lighter flywheels are better for AutoX and road racing. while the heavier ones are better for Drag racing.
i daily drive my fidanza/spec 4 setup. its tricky at stops...some due to the solid clutch plate, some due to the light FW.
As for the comment that it isn't good for drag racing, I think it is simply a matter of adjusting your launch rpm and shifting. The one Tosto brother with the hugger orange SS said he used a lighter flywheel and commented that he liked it because it didn't shock the drivetrain and tires like the heavier flywheel did.
