Exclamation V/P clearance

HEY PEOPLE NEW TO THE SITE. I bought a Lunati Camshaft. The Specs are
Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 300/300
Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 242/242
Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .595/.595
LSA/ICL: 112/108
Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
RPM Range: 3500-6500


Part Number: 55009LUN

I Also bought LS1 heads ported and polished. these specs are:
2.02 intake and 1.60 EXHAUST

LS1 STAGE 3 PORTED HEADS

HEADS ARE PORTED. AND FLOWED @ 28" H2O
241 CASTINGS & 225 CC INTAKE PORTS

flowed on a Super Flow 600 Bench no pipe on a 202 valve.

Will i have piston to valve clearance?

It will be tight. Have the heads been milled? You WILL need to check for sure man. Probably going to be to close for my comfort I bet.

I think you're going to have issues due to the valve sizing and the cam size.

How do i find out for sure? And im in NM. Know anywhere where i can get the heads Milled? and how much? im on a tight budget

You would have to do the install and then check PTV

like i said in the pm it "should" go in with out issue.. i had it in mine with 5.3 heads and no worries.. but i'd still clay it to be safe..

There's a lot that goes into calculating the piston to valve correctly. That being said my initial gut is it's going to be way to close. We've tested that lobe about 4 years ago and I doubt it will clear in this application without doing a little cutting

Milling heads will make it closer Assuming you have a 346 I don't think it will clear safely at all even with OEM head gaskets but that is just me. Better measure first.
