Are titanium retainers necessary in my application??

i say go titanium...and a new 918...where are you guys getting ti retainers for 130..my comps were over 200 a lil over a year ago??lighter valvetrain will rob less power and rev faster...im spinning that setup to 6800 on xer lobes..

i changed everything when i was in there with tsp;s cam kit....pushrods, dual springs, new seats, seals and ti retainers. i figure might as well do it while youre in there but with a mild cam like that you wouldnt need the ti retainers as much. Instead id get an Ls2 chain.

i ran my 100K steel retainers and locks on my tr224. i also went with the 1218 spring because its rated to like .600 and the cam is .564. i'd say thats pretty safe. wonder how long they will last? i have only run mine prolly 1000 miles.

Well I have searched and searched and have yet to find an incident of a PAC spring breaking. As I always do, just make sure you warm your car up properly before driving i, especially driving it hard. And of course, always make sure your oil is plentiful and clean.
