Try Futral Motorsports' cams. I run there f-11 on my dd but you can check out there selections.

I went with a smaller cam on my last setup and I really did regret it, so I'm definitely going to go big with this new setup.

Torquer V3 could be a good idea too...a lot of power under the curve and a nice peak too..specs are nice for a max effort DD IMO without beeing the biggest cam outhere231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA

lol, youre right, but duration is not as agressive as the 244-248 or other240+ cams...so its not that bad I think. I mean its up to the OP, the torquer V2 is 232/234 .595/.598 lift if you think .643 is too high..depends on what you want and what you think is too much. Whatever your opinion about the most agressive DD, the power will come in earlier than with the MS4,trex or other big cam with any Torquer, which is good for a DD.

honestly.. i have NEVER understood the reasoning behind, go with a smaller cam because on the street it has more midrange and low end grunt that is "useable".. who cares if it has low end grunt or if at 3k it breaks the tires.. hell i can half throttle my car and its headed for the ditch. or give it just barely a quick press and it jumps sideways.. that sounds useable to me.. but again, i dont care.. cause what i care about is how useable my power is at WOT around 5-6k.. where my cam is using its power and really waking up, most smaller cams are starting to loose their edge..
you can make a smallish cam make its power in that rpm range as well...a big split and wide lsa will move that powerband way up...my cam idles close to stock but above 4500 pulls like a freight train...my ported 5.3s help alittle i guess....i never see much below 3500 anyway...mine is like yours half throttle on street tires im fighting the wheel to keep it between the lines....oh wait i have 373s and my verter flashes to 4600...lol

i say go custom...you call up a sponsor tell em your setup and your desires...they grind it stick in a box ship it to ya and your happy...and another plus is that you have a cam that no oner else has or can get...

yes, you can make it move its powerband up, but it still isnt gonna make the same amount of pwoer.. guess thats what i was getting at.. id say the 5.3s were helping a lot.. haha like 45rwhp more like.. i got 410s... but my stall is only 4k

custom is the best..

yeah it is a little bit of both i think not to much duration, and not to much lift...i would say low .600s lift and 236/236 if about the max, IMO
