Very nice looking intake. 4.1" runners = Very high RPM's. Nice for solid roller applications.

also, are the runners made out of fiberglass or a thermoset? I know it says "carbon/fiber" but what does that mean exactly? How would you DP the runners?

Any pics of the vacuum/MAP plug ins?

The runners are all Carbon Fiber (no fiberglass), with a thermoplastic resin, as opposed to epoxy. That is what the patent is for. The reason for the thermoplastic resin is it has increased toughness over epoxies. This is the exact same material we use in aerospace, and ballistic applications. You can visually notice that the carbon looks different than a asthetic carbon most people are used to seeing (not as glossy). They are also much much thicker than need be at .125" thick, so you can drill and tap directly into them just as you would an aluminum intake.

As far as the MAP and vac ports go, we will have updated pics next week. The picture posted is of the first unit, which didn't have them at the time we took the picture.

How would it perform on a stock cube ls1? My guess...not very well, especially on the street. Short runners = high RPM race apps only IMO. It will be a great option for those that live at the track though.

For a race application, it would be perfect I think. A street setup with big ci, over 427 and at least 11.5 to 1 I bet it would work good too.

It's not for a small CI application that bottom end is needed, but the way I look at that is that with 346 or more CI, you have so much more bottom end tq then you generally need it's a mute point.

Noone races at 3000 or less RPM, and if you're modding a car, you're doing it cause you want more power (to race it, wether you're racing around town or on a track)

Not yet. The goal is to get some sales generated on the designs already invested into. Designs that are not currently offered will be evaluated according to demand shortly after.

Bare with us..
