Bare Straight from GM L92 Heads
Thanks Bob
Robin
Fresh out of the box, they looked terrible. Like they weren't completely finished in the machining. The decks were way rough, same thing for the intake and exhaust flanges.
In the ports, there was clumps of material like slag, a couple of the larger pieces were circled with a paint pen. The valve guides and seats looked great, but the other stuff I didn't like. The first set, I figured were quality control rejects (the paint marker on the slag in the ports). But 6 months later, I had the dealership warranty them for me, and the second set was similar.
So I sent them to Rich at WCCH to get the full CNC treatment, and decking. that took care of that!

l76/92/98,they flow very good ,contrary to some people, the main thing is not over cam them.they dont like too much overlap especially genuine 10.5:1 to 11.0:1 comp streeters,
i have a set on a 10.5:1 427,with 236/246@.050",114l/c,it makes 499.5ft/lbs torque under 2750rpm, try 550/550@5300rpm through full exhaust on engine dyno.std l76/92/98 intake used also with 90mm holley t/body.
