Weiand Intake postponed again......

While I was disappointed, I wasn't even remotely surprised/shocked by this news.

I know they let alot of guys stand around with their dick's in their hands waiting for this.
I wish i was going to the SEMI show. That would be the first booth i would hit. And give them a few choice words..lol. And i'd also tell them that the guys at the FAST booth thinks you guys are a joke If they start getting upset then you know the thing is coming out, but now they better remember all the customers they possibly lost cause of all these delays. So it's the L92 version thats holding things up? Well the hell with that thing for now!! They can start
making money and start shipping out LS1/LS6 style intakes now, unless that isn't done either

I am just a little skeptical about their claims with this intake. I don't have a lot of faith as to what part makers claim as HP and TQ gains. I want to see this on a few of our cars and then see the real truth.I am sticking with my Typhoon 96 MM

I've seen it happen on a bone stock LS2 automatic (Corvette), JS's GTO is cammed so I'm thinking it could be at least in the same range.
Maybe it is a little high though, let's ammend it to 395rwtq just to be safe.

1st results unported Fast vs the unported LS2
13.5RWHP
8.3RWTQ
This was with no tuning,I am going to the shop now and we will tune the unported Fast. One of the reasons I didnt port the Fast was I wanna do heads later and thats when I will port the Fast
Hope I can hit 420/395 once I'm done tuning?
Right now I am at 414/388

[QUOTE=JS;10445238]Well I hate to bust your bubble JJ but once tuned the Fast made 424RWHP/420RWTQ
I picked up 20RWHP/28RWTQ...
There are so many variables on Dynos that a 20 HP gain today could be 15 HP tomorrow on the same machine
I only use a Mustang Dyno. Last Dyno Run for my car was 425 RWHP 440 RWTQ corrected on a 05 LS2 A/4 trans with stock heads. I am sure if I dynoed it again I would get a different number
The FAST can get gains in the 20 HP area depending on the tune and Dyno used. The average gain for a FAST with basic bolt on's and a cam W/O a tune are around 13 RWHP which is what I gained with my untuned Typhoon over my ported LS2. I wanted people to know that if you are looking for a intake for a LS2 motor and don't want to spend the bucks that the FAST cost, don't overlook the 96 MM Typhoon. It will give you good solid gains over the stocker and for under 500.00 with Fuel rails is a good deal and you will never feel the difference between the 2 intakes on the street.
The Weiand intake [ if it ever comes out ] will most likely be around the same area in HP gains.

15 to 20 hrs apart on the same dyno and tuned before and after...
Come on bro u gotta admit it,the Fast rocked...
To tell u the truth,I was as shocked as u too
Final numbers tuned for the LS2 were 404/392
Final numbers tuned for the Fast were 424/420
(15 to 20 HRS LATER SAME DYNO)
I wanna port the 90TB next and redyno...
Then its either a set of heads or a direct port setup
