Default Intake Option??? LS3/L92 408's come in please...

I just recently put all my parts onto my DD 2000 camaro, M6, LME LQ9 408, 1-7/8, true duals, LS3 heads, Big Boy Cam 25x/2xx-6xx/6xx, 11:5:1 comp, 65lbz., 255 Pump, 12bolt. As we all know the fast LSX-R 102/102 is out now. The Vic Junior seems to be a good platform with either a 4-barrel EFI TB or a Wilsom Elbow with a big TB. So for my soon to be High Revving, High Compression, Nitrous car i can go 3 ways to achieve this goal to the max. If anyone has any facts or proven numbers please post them up here. My cam lives from 3500-7500 so i'm pretty sure which set-up will most likely get the award here, but now that the FAST LSX-R 102/102 is out i am curious which one will make the most power out of my set-up with nitrous....

Who is this? Alas another soon to be 408'er like myself. From what i have been told you should be fine with a Ported 92 but hey i am not a pro. Wouldn't you see better gains porting the heads or are they already ported?

He's got ls3 heads, which aren't compatible with a fast 92 i believe.

Yeah they aren't because the L/92 Ls3 heads are a cathedral port instead of rectangle ports, but all the big race companys said they make greater numbers because the ports. In all the Gm High Tech magazines every badass nitrous car seems to be running a single plane intake with a plate kit and a 4 barrel TB

I think you meant to say that LS3/L92 heads are a rectangular port design, not a cathedral.

Look up the threads posted by wiseass or wizeass. He went through alot of this with the carb style and the plastic intakes on a n20 car. The carb styles seem to loose alot of torque. The Vic Jr with a 1000 cfm plate style tbody and a carb hat might be the hot ticket. The hats are like the ones used for blow through style carb on a FI motor. Most people that have tried the elbows with a mono blade tbody have not been happy with them. They seem to kill the torque made by the 92 heads. I'm going with the 76 intake, my cam is ground for a long runners. Let us know how it works out on the plate and Vic Jr.

I will for sure man thanks for the input. vic junior & the fast 4150 is the way to go it seems every super fast f-body is doing it in the magazines and **** streetability lol Whats that mean...?? lol I drive or should i say race daily. My L/76 with a bigass cam with ported Ls3 heads made 527/475 with my stock L76 intake with a 92mm ported killing mid range to top end power So Single plane with a 4 Barrel Efi is the app of choice. So i'm working getting it all down up then i'll throw it all up for you gents to see.
