Never said it was a car! and as I said before, I was referring to the wipers not for the function, but for state inspections.

and if you think driving with m/t's is "scary as ****" in any weather, you must be the faint of heart. I've driven 180+ miles roundtrip to go to the dragstrip on my hoosier qtp's and on et drags. Drove there, ran the car, drove home.

On drag week we drove in the rain one day no big deal. Drove 1100 miles total over 5 days. No big deal.

This was on radials. never spun the tires unless I told it to.

I have a 4 hole on my car and will have one on the lsx if I ever get a intake

Guess it depends how big your camshaft is... My car is a M6 with 4.10's it's a ******** in rain on M/T ET streets. You cannot drive over 45 or your fucked i don't care what anyone says and if you beg to differ then i honestly don't think you know how bad the roads are in STL.... I've almost wrecked plenty of times just driving. STL is famous for it's shitty weather

driven through STL at least a dozen times. Even bought my truck there. Roads do suck, but they don't even compare to Pittsburgh roads. My car revved to 7200, and had 4.30's when it was a 6 speed. And as mentioned before, I was driving around on either 27x11.5x15 Quick Time Pros, 26x10.5x15 ET Drags, or 275/60/15 M/T Et Streets.

Do you have any more excuses?

Well stl is unlike any other city i've ever been to for non stop **** weather year round without a doubt... lol there's nothing like waking up on a friday knowing there's gonna be some good dig races for the weekend an it's cloudy & pouring down rain... lol We meet fri, sat, sun usually if it's nice out.

So the victor junior is what you have on your car i'm guessing with what setup in top???

It has progressive linkage. I'm glad you brought back a month and a half old thread to mention that.

Yeah true story i believe. Kinda wish the super victor was already out for the LS3/L92, but as someone stated early that it wasn't... Although there is a post recently added by me that another posted in a link for the super victor out for 6.0 litler. So i'm confused a little bit, but i went to the manufactures website and there wasn't anything on there??? I still think i'd gain some nasty top in and my car's overall powerband would be where in needs to with this intake matching the flow numbers of my heads....

West Coast Cylinder Heads L92's, Victor Jr Intake, Accel 4150 throttle body. Victor Junior is plumbed with a spray bar, so I didn't have to run a plate, or pay the big bucks of a direct port.

Have a elbow that I run on top of it for street driving. If I know I'm about to race, or at the dragstrip, I run it just straight throttle body, no elbow or filter.

Only thing is my car won't have a elbow on it because of how much you lose down low or so i've read on here. So the Vic Jr. with a 4150 wilson or fast will be the weapon of choice. What all is involved with switching to a single plane intake from my L76? I have a 3inch ss hood on order from VFN first thing in feb along with the 4-Barrel, and vic junior.

Kinda on the same subject.... I saw a guy with a 4150tb (somewhere on here) with what looks like a big hose clamp and some kind of filter material over the TB. Anyone know what else can be done to some type of air cleaner on these applications? I don't want an elbow sticking through my cowl on my TA.

Do a search on it! I have several pictures along with others that have a filter setup for this combo. I also have pictures in my sig. Your will have to have a aftermarket hood to run the combo i have.

do you run the hat+lid at the track or just open tb? i'm curious how much the hat takes away from the tb. also i wonder how much the tune changes between the 2.

I run the hat and lid. A buddy of mine tried it without the hat and he gained nothing, also the SD tune hardly changed from run with the hat and without. That was shocking because my money was on the hat holding some power back but it was something we had to do since we drive these setups on the street and needed some way to filter the air.

Wow thats pretty impressive for sure. I'm bolting on a 3 inch ss hood from VFN so the intake will be tall enough for the filter to get ram air.
