for real for 270.00 id spray paint it black and call it good lmao for 270 you should have had it ported or spend it on 100 other things that are actually worth 270.00$

it looks really good. but im with the others. you could prob have done it your self, and spent it on a port job. but as long as you like it, and are happy with the decision

The manifold looks really good. Yeh he could have done it himself but there is a pretty good chance that it wouldn't have turned out like Katech's. That price is about average for painting a manifold. I do agree with some of the others that you should have had it ported while it was there.

They told me that it had to be prepped, scuffed, and broken down to be painted...I hope I didn't get killed on it.

Oh well, I guess I may have gotten taken, but it looks good to me, and I hope it performs as well. Getting ported by Jeremy soon...

I'll keep you posted, just don't make me over what I paid! lol

Later.

Do yoiu knoww hat kind of paint is used by Katech and how it is applied?
What experience have others had with FAST manifolds. My personal preference is to shave off the logos, lsx.
Powder coating is not an option, the top plastic piece will melt.
thanks

I do not know what kind of paint they used. They sprayed it on w/a gun is all I know. In order to shave off the logo's they would need to smooth the entire manifold and that would have been even more expensive and everyone here would just break my ***** even more! lol...

Looks great please post up your results of what power you pick up or lose on the dyno... I'm torn between two set-up's one being the fast 102 & the victor junior... I would rather have the fast especially rattle canned lol but not if it's not gonna pick up power where i need it.
