ls3 coolant crossover?? or isit blocked off?? hey guys im putting together the 6.0 with the 6.2 heads and a ls3 intake but the stock coolant crossover from the 6.0 is to tall the intake wont bolt down??? Are they blocked off on the ls3? or some slim design??
I have the exact same setup. 6.0L engine, 6.2L heads, FAST LS3 intake. You just have to bend the outlet barb a little.

I have a crossover in front and block offs in the back.
LS engines just have crossovers in the front and block offs in the back. F-bodies had one that crossed over both and interconnected. They dont work with new intakes without modification to intake itself.

GM stopped doing it years back. It couldnt have been that important to connect all 4. Sure you can do it and it may have some unmeasurable minimum benifit. But if GM Blocks off the rears on everything for the past 8 years or so, its just fine to do also.
Its all up to what you want to do at this point, as long as the front crossover is connected correctly.
