Default NASTY's sheetmetal intake does not fit w/LS2 valley cover

My intake does get flush on my LSX block using the LS2 valley cover and gasket. Do they make a thinner valley cover or gasket?or can I use no gasket and silicone it? This will be on a boosted motor

I am pretty sure I would call Nate and talk to him - I have worked with him several times and he may have an answer. (Nate at Nasty Performance)

Just a thought - but if you are going twin turbo there will be plenty of pressure for sure. So I know I would try to get it right.

Mill a angle on the valley cover down the sides. I had to do that with my Wilson Billet Bank. I put a 45 all the way down the sides and it cleared fine. You could also mill some off the mounting surface of the cover itself, but the angle down the side worked for me.

Is it hitting the valley cover or the bolts? Might get by with buttonhead bolts...

Jake's Performance Fabrication makes a trick billet cover that uses countersunk bolts. He can also add breather fittings etc.

We make a billet cover with countersunk bolts that could work or the solutions mentioned button heads may work on your factory.

Well it fits without the gasket. It did not fit with the 45 degree shaved off the cover and the gasket. So if I use no gasket and use silicone will that work?
