Default 434 ring gap help
im spraying a 200 shot on top of about 15psi of boost i set my top ring at 39 and second ring at 33 is this too much or should i order a new set thanks they are total seal top ring is steel

What kind of pistons are you running? If the upper ringland is standard, non-gas ported I would recommend a .025/.027

Total seal says minimum, .009 X bore, for over 150 shot. Second ring is .008 X bore. What is your bore?

I wouldn't gap the 2nd ring smaller then the top ring, thats what causes ring flutter.
