Default FAST 102mm LS3 with Ford SVO 42lbs (EV1)

Okay do I did some searching and did not find exactly what I was looking for. My questions is....

I recently bought a FAST 102mm LS3 style intake for my new build. I want to try and use my Green top Ford 42lbs injectors (EV1 style) and my hi flow Speed inc rails from my old LS1 set up. Is it possible? I noticed that I may have to grind the upper fast shell to get the injector to fit better. I also need to make custom brackets for the rails.

Anyone doing this??? any help and pictures would be great???

I know the easier way would be to buy new rails and injectors, but with the build I just do not have the money for them.

Thanks Art

I tried, I gave up. The amount of material that would need to be removed to fit them is massive.

I wound up buying fast 42lb Ev1 style, and still needed to remove material to fit them.

might want to just sell your rails and get the ls3 rails for 210 or fast rails for 299

Well tried fitting the injectors alone last night and the Ford SVO injectors do not work, just to fat and do not let the injector sit low enough.

If you don't want to modify the fast intake to fit the fatter svo 42's then you'll need to switch to the newer style bosch 42 lb injector (skinnier) and LS1 billet fuel rails designed for the FAST intake.

I sold my injectors and rails te get what it was designed for. I got FAST LS3 injectors and used OEM LS2 fuel rails with injector spacer cups. I then again sold my LS2 fuel rails and bought FAST billet rails that dont use injector cups.

Your Speed inc rails will not work with the new LSXR, its built on the LS2 injector/rail platform.

FAST sells fuel rail kits for billet and OEM for all three length injectors; LS1, LS2, and LS3/LS7. I found this helpful....When it asks you for vehicle, simply select by the style injector your using (LS1/LS2/LS3/LS7)

So I sold my rails and injectors.

So should I buy LS2 injectors and I was looking at the Speed Inc LS2/LS3 rails?

OR

LS3 injectors and Speed inc LS2/LS3 rails?

I'm not sure what Shawn at VA SPeed did to get my injectors to work in the manifold but I had it apart a couple weeks ago and didn't notice anything funky when I put it back together. He did tell me it was a bitch to get the FAST rails to work. I noticed he drilled new holes in the rail and modified the brackets some.
