The F.A.S.T 4barrell is cable operated, uses TPS and IAT sensors, i machined my own TB cable bracket, this will be a drag only setup with a SD tune from G-Force Motorsports. Motor has TFS 235s, 13.5-1 compression, TH-350, will have 4.56 gears, 29xx raceweight. Should be interesting to see how it acts off the line

No IAC?

And I know its cable operated. How did you convert DBW to cable?

My mistake, it has the IAC and TPS sensors. I'm new to SD tuning im not sure what all is going to be turned off or left on, O2's, MAF? Im using a custom harness to run the motor only, and a 01-02 truck computer... there was never a DBW TB on this motor.

Setting the maf to fail puts the car in SD. Turn the code off so you don't get an ses. Only turn off the O2's if you have a wideband.

Thanks man, I'm going to get HP tuners after the tune is set at G-Force, hopefully they can give me some pointers for track tuning!

I was going to run the comp lifters but decided on the morel($600 I think), was told that they were better for high rpm without going solid roller. Im sure the LS7 lifters will hold up for a while, i went with the Melling HV part# 10296

I had the vic jr on my 402ci. It pulled to over 7,200 rpm's made power up top but lost alot of tq down low. I didn't go any faster in the 1/4mi and i just went back to a fast intake.

If you are going the FI route then I would go with the Vic Jr. It will handle the boost with no problems. The torque peak and or loss will be not be a concern with the Jr. You will have to do some cuttting of the cowling to make it work. I wouldn't waste the money on a Fast.

+1. The Jr does lose some low end grunt, from what I researched. But Ive heard of people blowing the seals/runners on the Fast's from FI/Nitrous. So the Jr would be optimal for boost. For NA, I would hand it to the FAST, IMO.
