LS3 vs LS7 intake
Both Trickfow and PRC will have heads out soon that flow the same but can be ordered with LS3 or LS7 intake configurations.
Which intake is better and by how much? (ignoring the Fast versions for now)
Both seem to use LS7 rockers which I believe are 1.8. Does anyone make 1.7 LS7 rockers?

That was not the test, the tested a FAST 102 against the LS7. The gains werent earth shattering, but they were there across the powerband. And a ported LS3 will never do better than a 102.
The Fast Manifolds are hands down top dog on LS1/2/6's and it seems shakey on some LS3/7's if they work or not. It seems combo dependant.

So you think an LS3 and LS7 intake are essentially same? Just looking at the runners on the inside of the LS7 leads me to believe it will perform much better, and add to that it has a bigger plenum and shorter runner. IMO the LS7 is better for a heads/cam combo
i have done my own testing on my own car, customers cars and one for Powertv all one my dyno that is where i get my info from.... where do you get your?
I just report what i see. Pat G gained power with the 102 over a ported LS3 and Texas Speed gained over a ported LS7 on a stroker.
i see.... so that is your factual basis.... anyone with a ls1tech account that knows how to use the search function could do that... no offense
None taken, I simply pointed out results from reputable shops that have tested the intakes. I don't claim to be an expert, I just pass on what I find Ryne.
The question really is, what size is the engine this is going on. The runner design of an LS7 intake is for a larger ci, and will loose torque if put on a small ci engine.
Plus the head ports are totally different, I highly doubt they "flow the same".
