hey im pretty sure this will work fine but someone told me it wouldnt. I av a lq9 block thats gonna get a set of l92's from texas speed will a ls3 intake work for now? im gonna put the fast intake on it later but fornow to get it runningwill this work?

I started with an LS3 intake on my L92 swapped LQ9, and now have the FAST intake as well.

I also run DBW, I dont have any issues with it.

 

I'm think I'm going to go with a cable TB (don't have any of the DBW parts in my car), but seeing what others did on similar swaps and were happy with

 

im doin a all out swap puttin a the 6.0 in my 68 camaro goin to a 4l80 trans so i have a choice still. ive def heard good things in the direction of DBW so im thinkin of goin with that i guess ill see where im at when the dust settles from this engine build as far as funds lol then ill find the most conservitive route.. not to sound like im tight but man trannys motors rears.. stuffs not cheap lol

 

that's kinda where i sit now too; stuff adds up. since i'm starting from scratch (no tb), weighing install and cost for both; although i think they both seem to be about the same amount: expensive!

gotta pay to play, but its a fun game none-the-less

 

haha isnt that the truth im just gonna take my time on the build try to hit some swapmeets up see what i can find. i built another car that way and saved a bundle. any of you guys know of any LS swap meets? i know of 1 in september but i got the go fast feaver now dont know if i can hold out that long ima try tho..
