Ok, I tried G force, they sent me to Speartech, John at Speartech said he has no solution for this yet. He has only a very limited ability which does not include a cruise control for a GM harness and computer.
Any other Ideas? Thanks...
Bad news, the later DBW setups run cruise control through the BCM.
Have a look in the conversions section. There was some talk of a TBSS ecu being able to run cruise without a BCM.
Check out http://spankysrodshop.net These guys have a direct plug and play cruise system for the GMPP engines. Also, they claim it works on any LS3, LS7, LSA, and even the LS9. I hate hearing guys trying to sell that TBSS system to every guy with a 58x engine. The DBW pedal mounting sucks! Why change operating systems if it's not required? Just to have cruise control....no thanks.

Looks like a nice kit.
Let us know the price and how it works.

They sent me a Cruise Control module with a small harness and a universal GM switch lever for my column. I followed the installation instructions and it all works good. Thanks for the help.
A lot of people have contacted me about this post so I wanted everybody to know, YES it still works good, NO I have had no problems with this cruise control system and yes it was easy to hook up.
So how does it intall? PLug and play or wire splicing. Thats the only feature that doesnt work with my ly6 swap. Im using a '10 colorado e67 ecu and pedal so I'd have to see if their kit would work with this pedal since it uses a different plug then most older pedals like the tbss and vette. Had to figure that one out when cpw and I worked back and forth trying to get a tbss pedal to work with my ecu but it wouldnt.
Does this kit come with a factory like stalk?
It's plug and play, I have a GMPP harness and computer with DBW throttle pedal.
It has a male/ female cruise module harness that plugs right into the DBW pedal assembly.
Then another plug that plugs onto access port at the GM fuse block, that is where it gets it's VSS, Hot and ground. and a wire to the brake pedal. NO BCM is required. I think their system works with most any kind of cruise activation switch, but you should contact them and ask about your specific needs.
This is what I'm using on my DBW LS3 with great luck. Control box is a bit tacky but is simple and works well.
Do you have any pictures of your setup? Which control box and switch did you go with? I'm going to put a ls3 in my 71 cutlass and was looking for a cruise control option. Any advice would be great.
Not sure what I would take a picture of....it's a black box mounted under the dash with about 5 wires lol. I used the dash mount control which as I said is a bit tacky because it's obviously plastic but where I have it mounted isn't that noticeable.

Just want to let you guys know that we have one too. It is a nice simple hookup that goes in between the pedal plug and another that hooks in to the OBD 2 port. Comes with a dash mount controller and one that you would put on the steering column. E38, E67, E40, and other CAN BUS compatible computers.
