Race setup water pump options?
Looking for ways to pump water on a strictly race application that is not meant for street driving that will not break the bank.
Plans are to have a motor plate in the front and a non-typical radiator (remote) location. What are some options I could explore?

The two from the top of the waterpump adaptor to the two on the Moroso adaptor. Doesnt really make a difference which ones are which. I just used a Moroso hose adaptor, 1 1/2", to the top of the radiator. The lower hose connects to the waterpump itself(1 3/4"). I mounted the Moroso adaptor to the forward cage strut with some thin sheet metal I had laying around......low buck??? borderline, still hugely cheaper than a Meziere!

I agree the cost starts to add up. I am also thinking about taking a stock pump, and pressing the pulley off and then adapting a old Moroso electric water pump drive kit onto it. (which I also have)

Hey OP, I have ran the BBC/AEICNC setup before and loved it. Matter of fact I have one setup for my current project, but had a change of plans. So I'm selling the setup.............https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...ump-setup.html
Good luck with your project.....
