Default FiTech 70003

Hi,
is anyone running a FiTech 70003 on a LS3 modified engine. How do you like it?
I am in the process of planning my first LS3 build and will be trying for around 600 to 625 HP. Just wondering if people are happy with this unit.
Thanks

I understand the FiTech units for the older engines. However, I just don't see why you would spend the coin for one for an LS engine when the LS already has a very capable management system that is readily available, and can be made to run on the factory components for much cheaper than the FiTech unit.

Default thanks

Hi, Thank you for the response. I have a LS3 out of a 2012 Vette Grand Sport I am going to rebuild and install in a 1968 ElCamino. I am planning on running a Richmond 5 speed. I also have the ecu and wiring harness from the Vette. Instead of sending out the ecu and having a custom wiring harness built I thought the FiTech might fit the bill a little better. Again I am new to the LS world as this is my first LS build. I will continue looking at the reflash and new wire harness option. Thanks again for the response. Any addition info would be greal

That's not the FiTech p/n you need if you have an LS3. You would need 70013. The one you listed is for an LS1, and LS2.

I definitely would not select FiTech or anything else over a factory LS management system. You can either convert the harness you have to standalone or purchase a standalone harness to work with your existing computer. The only thing you will need is the electronic accelerator pedal.

Default DBW to DBC

Hi Peters, I have called "FI tech" to offer our coils.
There was no one there that understood the offer (a yes/no), MOST EFI Manufactures use our coils.
I drive by there to/from my shop. (Riverside/Santa Ana)
The Main building has been sold, not sure if their Unit-A must relocate
The original product was a 4 BBL/4Injector Throttle Body.
I have not know any locals who fit this product.
They are often closed with no one present at their location/to answer a
phone call is not common.

I do manufacture a DBC conversion for the 90mm LS DBW Air Door.

This is used when I fit my ECU-882C to a LS2/3 engine for a Hot ROD/Sand Car/Baja Race Car requirement.
