I got the intake Friday, took 1.5 hrs to install. None of the runners are touched or hogged out, pretty much see inside the intake whats removed. I ordered the full ported one off the shelf & its brand new!

Maybe, haven't retuned. 1st year I owned the car I upgraded from LS1 to LS6 intake on a stock motor I picked up power it was noticeable. Before that best time was 13.2 @ 108. Went 12.8 @ 110 all day after LS6 intake. This time I got a built motor, was hoping for a lil improvement oh well lol! I got the Gwatney intake, supposed to be same as RC.

Who is Rick Crawford? Not everyone is a LS guru. LOL. I've heard of this mod before, but nuohing else. What does he charge for this? Nice gains for someone with a LS3 416

I still have my pre- and post-intake tunes on my laptop, with the previous WOT tune being dialed in on the street using a wideband. After installing the RCR and no other changes, MAF curve went up 3-20g/s above 6kHz, and VE went up 3-7% at 100kPa above 2000RPM. I don't drag race so I can't say how that correlates to a time slip.

Next step is to take it a step further and get all the good that is still there. Time consuming but it did pick up a few % over the rods alone. TQ is impressive..
I have a Super Vic on the car now as it outflows all the plastic intakes we tested. CID would be the best gain but for the money a SV is a good choice too.
