Default Dual throttle bodies?

Does anyone have any experience in running twin throttle bodies? I'd like to better know what I've gotten myself into and what issues I may run into.

I have run them before. Most problems i had revolved around idle and tip in or throttle response. I was running dual 75mm with ms3 but recently tuned a dual 90mm on a e38 ecm in a 2010 camaro. The extra box to run the second dbw throttlebody caused extra steps and the e38 took alot of work to make it smooth but it is possible. I hope you can tune it yourself and dont mind constant tinkering till its perfect.

What was used to link the two tb's together? A specific aftermarket controller or something else? It will be on a cross ram intake so hopefully that helps.

That's the torquerush controller. That and the Ozmo engineering controllers are the only options I know of without custom work. I have heard mixed reviews from people about the torquerush but I will likely go with it and see what happens as they have them in stock.

I have dual 87mm TBs on my 67 Cougar using the Holley Dominator. Holley has a table for adjusting pedal% vs. TPS. This allows the throttle blades to open gradually for good tip in and slow driving. I would recommend using the cheaper and smaller 87mm truck throttle bodies. No reason to go huge with two of them. I use these:

The maf sensors were the biggest obstacle that I thought I may have to overcome. How did you go about working around this? Or does the Holley ecm account for this? I'm wanting to stick for the stock e40 ecm because it is a dd. I found two 90mm LS3 throttle bodies for only $120 shipped for both or else I would take your suggestion on the truck tb's.

The Dominator does not use a MAF, it is speed density and uses the MAP sensor for load. I use a LS3 1 bar MAP sensor in the back of the HiRam intake. The other nice thing about the truck TBs is that the TPS assembly can be replaced for about $30 each.
