Default LS1 Front accessories mounting to LS3 questions

I just purchased a new gm performance LS376/480 long block. Id like to reuse my front accessories from my ls1 and mount to the ls3

I have the ls1 alternator, water pump, powersteering pump. NO A/C.

The ls376 uses “corvette”

spacing. My question is do my Ls1 accesories line up with the ls3 harmonic balancer ? If not what do I need ?

I will post photos below. First picture shows my layout and accesories. Second is my new block

Take the Balancer off of the LS1 and put it on the LS3, they are different.

May want to go with an aftermarket balancer, as the OEMs don't have the best reputation for longevity. I mean, as long as you're in there.....

Having issues with the ls1 water pump not fitting. Is there another ls3 pump that will have the same spacing for me to use the ls1 camro accessories?

Water pump seems to be making contact with bolts on timing cover

For this reason I used an LS2 vette water pump with ICT vette to F body spacers. The other issue involved even if it cleared the timing cover will be hitting the throttle body due to the LS3 intake.

It's not obvious exactly how those bolts are interfering. But if it's just that they're too tall, replace them with stainless button-head ones with Allen or Torx or Phillips drive, and use some thread sealer w PTFE on the threads to make sure they stay free of corrosion so you can get them back out easily whenever that need arises. They're 8mm "standard" (not fine) thread, 1.25mm I think, not hard to come up with; mcmaster.com has them if you can't find em locally.

Just a note on LS1 water pumps. I typically get them from NAPA and have never had an issue until my latest LS swap. L92 dressed as a LS3 using a 2002 Camaro FEA.
Got every thing bolted up and fired it up. Found I had a leak at the water pump gasket inlet/outlet. Pulled the pump thinking I got bum gasket but as I looked at back of the water pump It had some machining marks were the gaskets seal that I believe caused the leak. I took a fine toothed file and made the machining marks go way. Bolted it back on and zero issues ever since.
You can get metric "button" head bolts at Ace Hardware. I would go with regular steel not SS. SS and alum sometimes don't play nice together and can gall. If you go SS I would use a bit of never seize on them.

I dont think its just the bolts. Its also the timing cover where the bolt is. If it helps any im using an 02 camaro ls1 water pump and harmonic balancer. Pretty sure its making contact with the timing cover

If it helps any im using an ls1 waterpump from an 02 camaro. Was hoping to reuse it. I noticed the serpentine belt wear mark on it, is further from out from the block. Seems as though theres a lot of surface area. Should be good to use it with water pump spacers right ?

Never had issues with any LS1 Water Pump on the Timing Cover. Don't see what the issue is here.

The Corvette Balancers fall apart, not the LS Fbody ones. That's the reputation.

Seems as though these bolts on the back side of the water pump are making contact with the timing cover

I'll ask the obvious question..since I see the issue now.

Why are you bolting the Water Pump up without the Gaskets?

just to mock it up. Obviously there will be little space inbetween for the gaskets. After removing those bolts on the back of the water pump for mock up, it now seats a lot better. Im guessing I can just get bolts sit lower and dont make contact

Clearance after removing those bolts on the back of the water pump. Seats way better. Now I just have to find bolts that seat lower on the back of the pump. Anyone know the size and thread pitch on those ?
