Ultimate LS7 intake
I'd be curious to see a test of the ls1 manafold, and a fast, to see what the 2 compare out like. I dunno if dropping 3 G's on an intake would be worth it.. it would have to make at least 30 more Hp then the fast for a good part of the RPM range on a 400+ ci motor for me to even consider it honestly.. but still be an intresting test.
The ls7 type, vs the actual ls7 intake should be intresting as well.

BTW if I had the money, I would buy this just for the bling factor
oh the bling factor is sweet... but I really would have to see a big power gain over the fast 90 to make it worth while. I knwo that 850 is a good chunk of $ for the fast, but 3K for the wilson, is alot harder to swallow unless there's a damn good power gain.
Possible.. I know the et 240's I am running will easily outflow the fast. I cleaned teh fast up a little before it went on the motor, but it's not really ported by any means.
I have pic's of a mamo-ported intake, so I have a good referance should I ever decide to do anything with it.. but to be honest I really question if it will do much more hten what I already did.
To be honest another 30 hp on motor would be nice, for the racing I plan to do this year it would probably get the car right where it needs to be if not past it (10.5 index) but I think there's alot more to be gained by adding a set of 28 inch et drags then an intake swap will get me at this point, that and possible a real drag rear swaybar, and some more weight reduction, preferrably of the free kind.

According to Mike at Wilson, this intake only stands about 1/2" taller than a factory LS7 intake. Looks like we will be ordering one for one of the car builds we are currently doing. It is also supposed to match up at all mounting points just as the LS7 intake does.

Wow this thread took off ya it is a direct bolton style. I have seen them mounted in an F-body and they look trick. On a big cube motor it should be worth quite a bit over a FAST as Wilson desinged the FAST and they made this as an improvement. We will have dyno #ers on this one shortly. Here is a teaser at F-R-E

I could put that one with the DP on it to good use... want a test car to try one of those out on? 13 to 1 402, big cam, etc.etc, I'm sure if the intake is gonna make a differnence, I have a car that would show it.
Am I the only one that sees that at $3 it is approaching the price territory of an ITB setup? No way it is gonna outflow ITB's not to mention the gains to be had with idle quality with big cams with an ITB manifold. No doubt it is an extremely nice piece however and would be a hot ticket especially with forced induction.

We checked out the LS1 at PRI last year, and the new LS7 at the show this year. I know of a Top Stock racer that runs one on a 347
Reckless the rails are extra. Im sure you guys get good pricing at W2W, at our pricing tier they werent all that expensive, crazy purple color that all of Wilsons stuff is, not sure f its cool looking yet or not or purple just kills all the cool factor of the color

Those intakes have been out for 2 years now, its Wilson Manifolds if they give one to anyone it would be a NHRA racer
Terry and them are good guys to deal with but dont know how much they give away anymore
