it took the right people to ask.... but Jason at katech used 2002 F-body accessries on his motor, I will be doing tehsam eon my 7.o LS7block when I squeeze it into my 94 B4C car. I'm pricing out all new gear from my local chevy dealer but most of the items will be autostore bought to keep costs down, and the PS pump will be aftermarket along with the ATi balancer.

I believe the balancer is different when using the ls7crank. katech has the Ati version for sale at $500, ATI now has a part number too. from what I've been told either the ls1 or ls2 water pump will work.

Talked with jason from Katech for a bit and he said go ahead and use the-body 98-2002 LS1 accessories, bolts right up to the LS7/LS2 block. I'll use the LS7 front cover, dry sump pump and an aftermarket power steering pump, E-bay 160 amp alternator, and a GM A/C pump. I'm doing a complete LT1 to LS7 swap so I need everything....PITA but for current LS1 guys this swap should be easy. For me it means new radiator, air intake, BMR K member, LS1 plastic tank, and radiator.
according to Steve at R.E.D. and some other threads I've read lately, you can even run the dry-sump system on the LS2 and save some $$$ on a darton resleaved LS2 vs. LS7 block. you just give up the billet mains that are not transferable to the LS2 from the LS7.
