I just hope someone makes a intake manifold for the LS3's soon.
I can't believe it has taken so long for this product to come to market. It tells me that either they are the worst run business or there are some serious problems with this product.

Summit shows their estimated ship date as 11/19/08. I guess we'll see if their estimate is any better than Jegs'. Though I won't be holding my breath.
I tried finding the Weiand manifold at SEMA the one day that I went while I was on my way out. But the AEM guys were in the booth that Holley was supposed to be in according to the catalog. They told me that the Holley booth got moved at the last minute and I didn't have time to go find it. I was specifically trying to catch a look at this manifold and maybe get some more info.

I think that Holley has learned what we already know. The airflow/volume in the RPM range that Holley is trying to market has already been perfected by the LS6 intake whether or not in ported form. The Companies that understand where the market is are already selling the high RPM airflow improvement intake manifolds.

Where is the cheap and efficient intake that we need??? maybe right here:Eldelbrock LSX intake https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...than-fast.html

You are spot on & that was exactly my point. The manifolds exist. Whether or not they need porting is secondary.

I gained 10 HP when I ported my LS2 without a tune. Gained another 13-15 over my ported LS2 with my Typhoon without a tune.
The FAST is a great product and makes big power at very high RPMs but it's low end and mid range is fair but not great. If you race at the track often and every last 10th of a second is important to you then I say go with the FAST. If you don't race, the FAST is not a must have item.A ported LS6 , LS2 or Typhoon will do the trick and save you a lot of cash plus you don't need full bolt ons, cam and heads to make good use of them.

I dont agree with you. Theres a big hole in the intake department; Typhoon, ported LS2 are not that much better if any than LS6(since LS6 comes with 78mm TB) and not that cheap. FAST is expensive proven, but still need porting IMO to justify the price.

You might be right, but we dont know yet. A lot of plp are running big cam on the streets and this intake might be a good answer to that(high RPM). Street car definition is different for everyone..
